OK further explanation:

It was so sad to say goodbye to Northumberland!! And everyone there!! I have grown so close in just six weeks and sad that my time has come to an end, but so excited for the next adventure! I know this is where God needs me to be. So the first couple of days were filled with goodbyes, and yep I didn't pack until 7am the morning of transfers haha. Good times.

Bradford. Sister Giannini! This is the first actual city I have served in. It is completely different from all my other areas. After 8 months, I am finally back to buses and walking. I am so excited. There are also TONS of hills here, so let's get back into shape:)

Bradford is known for it's diversity. It's insane. MASSIVE population of muslims live here, from all over, lots from Pakistan though. So there are mosques and all that everywhere. I am so excited because I am very NOT knowledgeable about the muslim faith so I am excited to learn and meet so many new people!!

The ward is massive though, because we are in a city, and so it's a 180 from my tiny little branch in the countryside of Northumberland. But everyone is so sweet and the work is moving like crazy here. So I am so stoked!!! We are ward sharing because there is so much to do!!

There are so many people ready to accept the gospel of Jesus Christ. To acccept Him into their lives. I testify that the gathering of Israel is taking place and He is hastening His work.

On Sunday, we went out to find a woman who requested a missionary visit. But we didn't have her exact address, so we were planning on knocking doors on that road. We felt strongly to knock this one door and we met a family!! A mom and daughter who has just moved here two weeks ago and were looking for a church to go to!! They were excited to learn and we are going to go back to teach them!!

DANIELS BAPTISM!!! It was such a sweet opportunity to be able to go back and see Daniel get baptized. He has grown so much and is changed. He is so much happier. He bore his testimony and the spirit filled the room. My heart is full of joy.

Here is his full story. He has had a really tough life. Lots of crazy things have happened and he has really gone through it. Back in January 2022, he was reaching an ultimate low, when ads of our church popped up on Youtube, over and over again. Now you will know that the algorithm works on youtube if you search for things or what not and it brings it back up. But Daniel had nothing to do with it. He testifies that only by divine design did it happen. So he reached out and contacted the missionaries and he started meeting with the Elders.

One of the elders, Elder Fullwood, he really connected with. Elder Fullwood later tells us that the Holy Ghost told him that Daniel would be baptized. But it didn't happen while he was on a mission. Things fell through with Daniel and he kind of disappeared.

Then, fast forward to July 2023, me and Sister Wight had the idea to mass text every contact in our phone and invite them to the open house. We did, and Daniel was one of them. He excitedingly wanted to meet up right away, and then in that first lesson with him, told us that he wanted to be baptized and that God has led him back to the true church and this is what he needed to do. So for the past 2 and a half months, we met with him, and the sisters continued to meet with him. He gave up cigarettes, weed, coffee, and tea all in these past months and was baptized on Saturday, by Elder Fullwood, who came back, after being home from his mission for a year, to perform the baptism.

I have a testimony that God led Daniel back to the path, to take this first step of returning back to HIm through baptism. There are no coincidences. It was by divine design. Our Father in Heaven loves us all so much, and so individually. He knows the timing that is best for us and is eager for us to reach out to Him. To grab our Savior's hand and have Him lead us to where there is true safety and peace.

I am so grateful to be a missionary! To be an instrument in God's hand! This work is beautiful.

Love,
Sis Jepp:)
