Joy was found in three things this week...

Hiya everyone!! Wow wow wow, this transfer has flown by. This past week was pretty good. it was one of those great, but super tough weeks ya know? One of those weeks where lots of good happens, but it is a lot more of making it be a great week than having a great week.

This week, my joy can be described in these three pictures:

One: The Plan of Salvation. This week we were able to share this beautiful plan of happiness with four of God's children this week. I am so grateful for a loving and merciful Father who created a plan, and a way for us to return to live with Him. I know that He knows us so personally, that He loves us unconditionally, and we have so much divine potential in His eyes. This picture is of my companion showing our sweet Italian friend a picture of the Plan of Salvation laid out. It is beautiful to witness what happens when we share this knowledge with others. They truly begin to see God as our literal, loving Father in Heaven.

Two: THE SUN!! It was raining and cold all week long. And it is tempting to be sad and miserable when you have to wait an hour and a half for buses and nothing is coming and you are just getting poured on. But, there always is joy to be found. And when the sun finally came out on Friday, it truly was joyous!! Hence, us jumping for joy that the sun came out.

Three: PUMPKIN COOKIES!!! shoutout to my mom for sending us the stuff to make them. My companion has never had them before, and she is definietely addicted. We ate them all week long haha. It's the simple things in life that bring us joy:)

Other highlights:
-taught lots of lessons that were SO amazing!!
-made lasagna and pumpkin cookies for the sweetest couple in our ward that always feed and do so much for us!
-learned a lot from our Muslim Uber driver this week, he told us all about what he believes, and it was actually so interesting!! I love learning about different religions and cultures!!
-had stake pday and played lots of spikeball!
-drank a raw egg with Sister Kingston, successfully
-taught a flat earther this week, very interesting. Hey, it helped him believe in God, so that's a good place to start.
-FUNNY STORY:
-So we taught P again this week. This is the friend that loves the Book of Mormon and wants to get baptized soon. We had a really good lesson with him and he kept pulling and asking a billion questions. But at one point, he asked,

"Do you think the people at church will accept me with all these tattoos on my face?"

And Sister G not hearing the question right, so confidently just goes, "Nahhhhh". We all just died and burst out laughing and she was so embarrassed. It was all good though and no hard feelings haha.

And yea! That was pretty much our week! It flew by, so I can't remember much, but I just love being a missionary!!

Love,
Sis Jepp:)
