Call me Sister Curb-eater

Hiya everyone!!! Hope you all had a fantastic week!!!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes and emails!!! It just made me so happy!! Love you all so much!!

Here's the highlights of the week:

-Monday we played chair football and got Shwarma for the last time with the Louth district. We are all getting moved around so it was the last time with  the district:)
-Tuesday was transfer day!! And because me and Sis Sousa weren't changing, we got to be the taxi drivers for everyone else. So that meant drive to Harrogate, then to Leeds, back to Harrogate, back to Leeds, to Scunthorpe, and to Beverley. Took all day but it was fine.

-ok here's the embarrassing story. I can't remember if I told you part 1 of it so I'll just put it in here in case I didn't:
   >part one:
A couple weeks ago we went to the Clares house for a meeting with some other missionaries. They live in this cutest neighborhood but there street was blocked off a little bit, but we could still drive down and park by their house. Well I'm driving down and their house is on the right and I'm deciding whether to turn into the driveway or park on this other side street. While I'm trying to decide, there's a big van behind me turning around so for a split second I thought I'm not supposed to be on the road. AND while all this is happening there are 4 elders walking up, one of them being the elder that is the car elder of the mission, and so while I'm focusing on like 500 different things at once what do I do? Swerve left and eat the curb. And I mean eat it. It makes no sense. (Also remember I'm driving on the left side of the road so sometimes I can't gauge my distant cause I'm not used to it). And yep all 4 of those elders died laughing and now I won't hear the end of it. I'm the curb eater.

>part 2: now you thought it couldn't get worse? Think again. Tuesday, transfer day, every one gathers at the institute building to transfer. And its tiny. Which means a tiny one way street into a tiny parking lot. And I was driving that day. To set the scene, I pulled in and there's no spots so I just park blocking everyone in, which is fine, they told me too. But then it's time to leave. And I have 5 massive suit cases in the boot of the car, two squished sisters in the back and this tiny street to reverse out of, can't see a single thing. And in front of me there are about 29 missionaries watching, a couple of them being those same elders from before who told everyone else I'm a curb eater. And president and sister clare are trying to drive away too, so they are following as I back out. Moral of the story, I ate some more curbs. In front of all of them. I'm destined to go down in England leeds mission history as the curb eater.

-Wednesday was my birthday!! I turned 20!! Quite crazy. We had a relief society birthday party that night so I got a yummy meal and cake which was sweet:) and sis sousa got me a cake!! Love her

-Drove to Leeds on Thursday to drive some sisters to a doctors appointment. Drove the elders brand new car cause we had to switch with them so they could take our car to get a tire change. Yep, they were deathly scared to give me the keys because I'm a #curbeater

- Friday went to Leeds AGAIN for a meeting with the other missionaries again. It was really good!! Loved it a lot

Sunday was mother's day here in the UK!!! It was really sweet. They handed out flowers to all the women in the ward and we got some too:) but there were some extras so me and Sister sousa went to Hornsea after and handed out flowers to mom's walking around!! Hornsea is a beach town 20 mins away from beverley. Its so cute!! It made me so happy because all the mom's were so grateful and so sweet!!!

And yep:) that's a wrap!!!

Love you all so much!!!
