Sister Chloe Jeppson- Leeds England Mission : Stepping outside my comfort zone:)

Hiya everyone!!!

This past week has been so busy and so wonderful!!! Lots of good things have happened:)

Summer in England: very very humid, you can eat the air its that tangible. Also, its sunny one minute and then a torrential lightning and thunder rainstorm the next. It's so cool! We for sure got caught in one this week.

Other highlights of the week!

-Tuesday we had a lesson with our friend Kevin! It was probably the most real lesson i have ever taught. We talked about who God is, who Jesus Christ is and our relationship with Them and it was truly beautiful. He is so sweet and truly wanting to have a relationship with his Father in Heaven. Then after the lesson we had an open house a half hour later, and we had to setup and invite people in, and we invited Kevin to stay! And he did! And while he waited her read 3 Nephi 11 in the Book of Mormon!! So cool! And he loved the open house! He also came to church on Sunday!

-the open house was a success! We had two nonmembers come and one member who hasn't been to church in a LONG time! So cool!!

- taught Irene this week the restoration and it was so sweet. Oh how I just love old ladies here in England.

-we had zone conference this week!! this is the first part of me stepping outside my comfort zone. I sang a duet with my companion, and had a solo part. The smallest group I have ever sang with in front of people is like 5 or 6. Never smaller. and here it was a duet? and solo part? scariest thing of my life for sure. But i think it turned out okay

-painted some more:)

-went finding and took Sister Olsen and Sister Ford out to lunch!

- met some AMAZING people this week, I am telling you, the Lord is gathering His children now.

-for church I gave a talk and this was the second time stepping out of my comfort zone because it was a 12 min talk and I did it off of one page of notes. I never thought I could do that, but the Spirit does tell you the things to say:)

- cool story: so a couple of weeks ago we went finding and knocked on this door and met Sue. She was really sweet talked for a little bit! So then we went back to visit again and her son-in-law opened the door. As we explained we were looking for Sue and who we were he said, ''Wait, i want in. Can i come to the open house?'' It was so cool!! So now he is coming too

Some funny things:

-for pday we walked across the Humber Bridge with our district! That was a blast. But then while my comp and i were planning on running back, they convinced to go get a bite to eat with them real fast. Bad idea, don't give in to peer pressure. Because then after we each ate half of a sandwich, we ran back. And we felt good so we were kind of booking it. I think my stomach is made of steel though because nothing happened for me, while as my sweet comp threw up off the Humber haha. We laugh about it now don't worry.

- also Sister Wight cut my hair, gave it a healthy trim. Part three of stepping outside my comfort zone haha, that was the first time she ever cut hair, it was a success. Even though she used kitchen scissors haha
