I PASSED MY THEORY TEST!!

Hiya everyone!! Hope everyone is just filled with joy this fine day. I have had an amazing week. Wow I just love England! And everything about being here.

This week lots of fantastic things happened so....let's get to it:

-first, I PASSED MY THEORY TEST! *insert sigh of relief*, this was very happy because I failed my first time and I didn't have any other option other than to pass because there are absolutely no sisters that can drive in the mission so they needed me to pass. So step one, complete. Next, the practical. Pray for me.
-->little insight on the theory test, it is a 50 question multiple choice, with a hazard perception test after. The hazard perception test is 14, 45 second clips of driving down the road, while hazards come out at you. You have to click the screen when it comes on and you get points based on how soon you click it. testing your perception. so complicated haha, but I passed.

Continuing on...

-went to Seaham beach for pday which was so fun! We played spikeball, football, American football and made our feet go numb in the North Sea

-ate fajitas with the Perry's and did the mind reading magic trick on them and they died. They have the two cutest little girls who I adore. just picture this cute six year old saying, "Sister Jeppson!" in a cute british accent

-went up to Berwick again for an amazing lesson with our new friend!! She was so cool and we taught her the restoration. after we told her about Joseph Smith's First Vision, we asked her what she felt, and she goes, "I feel like I need to know the rest of the story!" It was so sweet and she is excited to read the Book of Mormon and for us to come back!

-went on exchanges with Sister Frampton! It was so so so good!!

-had an amazing conversation with a friend that our member brought to lunch and it was a gift from God to be sure. We were able to relate so much and it was just genuinely a real conversation about who much God does know and loves us and wants us to be happy

-that lunch I just talked about was at Howick Hall which is the beautiful hall and gardens. It is the home of Earl Gray, who you might (or might not if you don't drink tea), recognize from Earl Gray Tea haha. So yea they had a massive tea room and we ate in there and it was so cute.

-taught some other friends that are so cool and did a lot of finding this week!!

-went on a walk around Warkworth Castle with our branch

-cheered for the park run again which is my favorite part of the week. Picture this: Beautiful green fields right below Alnwick Castle. Cows in the background. A bunch of British people running a 5k. A hill up ahead. At the top of the hill are two 20 year old, american girls who are the BEST marshalls in the history of park run marshalls. The chants, the cheers, the dance moves, all of these crazy energetic things at 9am that surely make all the Brits think we Americans are even more loud and crazy than they already thought. It is actually so cool because they all come and thank us after for our energy and kindness and that it really helped. I thank my own running days for that. I know exactly how it feels and do not hold back in cheering for them:)

But anyways, that's a wrap for my week. This week I had a huge focus on the joy that comes from being on the Lord's errand and being on the path that He is leading us on. A quote from a friend sums it up pretty nicely:

"Who you are becoming on this path that you are on, is all that the Lord cares about."

And that is the truth. God knows us. He knows our heart. He knows our desires. He gives us everything to help us become more like Him. And what we choose to do, how we choose to live, who we truly are becoming is all that He cares about:)

Love,
Sis. Jepp:)
